Real Teaching Applications
Wireless systems provide teachers with a single, easy-to-use AV system that is connected to the overhead speakers and provides plug-in connectivity to virtually any multimedia device including TV, VCR, DVD, iPod, projector or laptop.
Simultaneous inputs for audio, video and RF wireless allow teachers to add insightful commentary to movies and presentations that can be heard clearly anywhere in the room.
RF technology offers multiple channel flexibility with complete mobility for the teacher. No ‘dead spots’ or interference from light or line-of-sight obstacles. This allows teachers and students to focus on education rather than the ‘technical difficulties’ common to earlier IR-type devices. Choose clip-on style or headset microphone that can move with the teacher for use in other HNB equipped rooms.
Digital processing with ‘VoiceLift’ amplification assures clear intelligibility without vocal strain for a positive teaching experience. Audio coverage of +/-2dB assures hearing clarity for all students; whether they are in the front or rear of the classroom/auditorium. |
Capability to use up to three independent wireless channels is ideal for multi-use classrooms, interactive teaching styles and meeting the ADA requirements for hearing impaired students. A one-channel system facilitates a teacher microphone, a two channel system can add a student microphone or a student headset. A three channel system would incorporate all three with a capacity of up to 100 ADA users per classroom.
All HNB Series enhance the existing PA and Emergency Fire Alarm system. Connectivity to the HNB
allows these systems to override and broadcast through the HNB connected speakers. This means that important communications can be heard clearly and instantaneously.
Additionally, the system includes an audio output that can be used to archive lectures for access/storage and retrieval through the internet (equipment/ software by others). The capability to archive video may also be available in future HNB upgrades.
